
  War of the Lions Tweak v2.52 - Skill Casting Speeds:

    This document is extra reading material for the "quicker spell & skill casting speeds" change. It lists
    every casting speed change in the mod, in order by class. Reading this is optional, and it technically has
    spoilers (for the spell lists - not for the story). Read on if these details interest you. If not, just
    playing the game without this knowledge is totally fine!

  Overview:

    Each skill that was slower than 25 was increased by "one step". Usually this meant going from 15 to 20,
    from 10 to 15, etc. I left speeds 25, 34, and 50 alone, because these faster speeds were never the
    problem. The goal of this change is to make the slower spells more usable, not to buff all spellcasting
    in general.

    In some cases I *did* upgrade a 25 to a 34, or a 34 to a 50. These exceptions were done in order to avoid
    a situation where one skill was strictly better than another, or to maintain a speed relationship between
    multiple similar skills (such as Cure and Cura). These exceptions are noted in the lists below.

    Finally, the US PS1 version had already buffed some of these casting speeds (most notably the summons).
    These buffs are *the baseline* from which a further "one step" speed buff was applied (until they reached
    speed 25).

    Note: these changes only affect player class skills - no monster or NPC class skills were changed. I could
          be convinced to do these in a future revision, but these skills tend to act against the player more
          often than for them, so I suspect it wouldn't be a positive change.

    Note: Rapha and Marach's spell speeds were not buffed. After all their other improvements, they needed the
          slightly longer casting times for balance.
